NZBA commissioned Ernst & Young to prepare a climate scenario narratives report for the purpose of supporting members with their reporting of climate-related risks under the framework developed by the External Reporting Board.
Scenario planning and climate-related risk disclosures are a developing area of practice, and this is the sector’s first effort at preparing a report. Further iterations of the report will likely be issued in future as the science and regulatory framework progress.
