NZBA supports the DPMC exploring reforms to New Zealand’s critical infrastructure system, with the aim of improving resilience to natural hazards and other threats. To ensure that any new regulatory regime is appropriate for New Zealand, some important aspects will need to be carefully considered – in particular, a clearly defined scope and the management of overlaps with existing regulatory systems.
