We support the RBNZ undertaking further work in relation to cryptocurrencies and a potential Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) for New Zealand. We would welcome the opportunity to work with the RBNZ on emerging issues in this space, particularly given the potential impact on payments systems and banking.
