Code of Banking Practice
The purpose of the Code is to record and communicate to the public the minimum standards of good banking practice that Members of the New Zealand Bankers' Association will observe to maintain good relationships and communication with customers.
In addition to the Code, the New Zealand Bankers' Association has developed a set of voluntary guidelines to improve access to banking services for the elderly and disabled people. The guidelines were developed with input from organisations representing the elderly and disabled communities and the Human Right Commission.
