Miles ensures NZBA has strong relationships with Members of Parliament, ministerial staff, banking industry influencers. He also leads work on cross-industry initiatives such as the Regional Banking Hubs pilot.
Miles has a background in politics, economic communications and journalism. He has worked in the Leader of the Opposition’s Office, the Ministry of Economic Development, UK Department for Business and major British newspapers.
Miles graduated in Law and Arts at Victoria University and holds a post-graduate diploma in journalism from AUT.
