Philip van Dyk

As Communications Director, Philip is responsible for all aspects of NZBA communications, including strategy, media liaison and branding.

Philip joined the New Zealand Bankers’ Association in June 2010.

Before coming to the NZBA Philip worked extensively in government. He has broad knowledge and experience in policy development, administrative processes and communications. Philip has worked in several Ministers’ offices, including the Office of the Prime Minister. He has also worked in Broadcasting Policy at the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and managed a communications team in Local Government Policy at the Department of Internal Affairs.

Philip graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Victoria University in 1991 and completed a Certificate in Public Relations from Massey University in 1999.
